1,2,3 A,B,C

the best thing about practical is that the supervisor or we the law students call them Master are so kind in telling us the hardships they went through to get the degree.

so far, i've had three Masters. Mr. Yip Kum Poh, Puan Zuraidah Yatim and Puan Roselinda Hashim. All three of them are great people with stories of their own.

helping Mr. Yip in his small (not small but ordinary conveyancing law fim) proved to a big challenge. but i did learn a lot there since it was the first place where i learnt about the real world. plus, he is a chinese guy with a bit of a high temper. marah is nothing for me back then. but he always puji me saying nice things after he marah me. fast learner la. smart la. he taught me a lot. especially to be not just a smart lawyer, but a savvy one. thanks mr. eddy. i was with him for three years. every short semester, i will go to his law firm and help him as much as i could. the lesson i learnt is that if you want anything, just go for it full force and you will get it eventually.

then it was time for me to go through a compulsory practical. i decided to go to a new venue since i've learnt so much about conveyancing. (so i thought). so i chose TV3.

i wasnt nervous. really. more to curious. i was curious of how will the workplace turns out to be. how will the people there be. will i get to learn alot about broadcasting laws.

on the first day, we were introduced to the Big Boss Puan Roselinda. a beautiful and warm lady she is. and i still remember how on the first day she invited us to join the Media Prima Annual General Meeting. in my mind was, food food food.. =) from her, i get to know some little infos regarding studying laws in the UK. chambering there etc. oh ya, btw she is Malay-Irish. later on i found out that she is actually a mother of four. a son plus a triplet. that was so amazing to hear. becasuse at first i thought she was not even married. the children ARE cute. Mika, Mila, Kael and Kyra. she showed us their pictures on the last day we were there. i learnt from her, indirectly, that you can be a career woman without neglecting your love and family life. and if i'm not mistaken, i think we share one similar value that is we do not really care about other people's business (in a good way. bukan sombong) unless those we are really close with and we prefer to do our own things. jst my observation laa.. kalau salah, my mistake.

the same lesson i learnt from Puan Zuraidah. secretly, i refer to her as Bos Kecik since the Big Boss is Puan Linda. she is a lso a lovely lady. has been workng with tv3 for more than 10 years. no no no she is not forty plus. still a young lady. and i just figured out that she has a blog too. she is happily married and they are so in love even after seven years of marriage. the biggest lesson i learnt from her, indirectly too, is to believe in the power of love =) because she has this one beautiful perhiasan dinding with "Believe in Love" (something like that laa..) on it. and another thing she taught us is to be aggressive nad outstanding. oh ya, she too has twin girls, Tia and Mia.

both of my lady bosses are not like my Mr. Eddy who was temperamental and cakap lepas. i thought they would be the lady bosses which people loathe the most and it is a suprising fact that they are actually cool and beautiful ladies.

i took the picture from Bos Kecik's blog. Bos Kecik in Yellow and Big Boss in Black. this was at Tia and Mia's birthday party last Saturday.

'kael, the daddy, mila, tia, mama, ghazi, kyra, the mummy, mika, mia and papa'- Bos Kecik wrote this. the daddy = Big Boss's husband. mama = Bos Kecik. the mummy = Big Boss. Papa = Bos Kecik's husband.

Bos Kecik with half of the birthday girls, Tia Khadeja.

THANKS TO ALL MY THREE BOSES FOR ALL THE LESSONS!!!

NOW, WHO SAID LAW GRADUATES ARE BORING??? MY BOSSES ARE ALL COOL =)

oh ya, out of topic. i read something that makes me Thank God so much in Yahoo Featured News. The Bloody America has finally retreated from Iraq. After all the damages they have done, baru diorang nak berundur. the one i feel sad the most is when they attacked all buildings in Iraq especially the museum because it is where the people get the chance to know their history. cuba kalau orang attack dia punya museum of art tu, mau satu dunia dia nak tuduh and nak serang. ni dia terang-terang serang tapi orang tak boleh buat apa-apa. whatever. thank god for the good news. alhamdulillah.

BILLIE JEAN

Another great loss
Rest in Peace
many smiles were brought
many tears shed
you will be remembered
Rest in Peace

i do pray you left us being one of us

Some like it black
Some like it white
I like you when you were white
But I loved you better when you were black

THAT'S SO RANDOM

random questions popping in my mind and questions people asked me:
a) why do people always say 'mulut tak ada insurans!' when someone says something rude? this has always had me puzzled since having something insured means that if something happens to that something, that something will be covered. so, shouldnt "Berapa ribu ko buat insurans mulut?" be said instead of "mulut takda insurans"? sebab, bila orang tu berani bercakap something yang celupar which might cost him his mouth, mestila mulut dia dia dah insured kan. manalah tau dia saja-saja mulut celupar so that when people belasah his mulut, the insurance company would pay him later. tak macam tu? (somebody please shed some light on the insurance thingy. saya budak baru belaja)
b) a friend of mine once asked me (she doesnt listen to English songs that much) what is it that makes me fall in love with certain songs, is it what's the song's about or is it the tune? my answer is it could be both. (just in case you're reading my blog)
c) another friend of mine asked me, 'Best ke main Guitar Hero?'. my answer is HELL YEAH! especially when i dont know how to play the real one. and my favourite hang out momentos is when battling with boyfie Abu, jamming to the song Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson! Gila best!
d) why do people feel pelik when a stranger smiles at them? some people are overtly judgmental that when a stranger smiles at him/her, she'll turn to whoever is beside her/him at that time at say 'Eee.. apahal uncle tu senyum kat aku semacam?'.. and then they'll make fun of that uncle. come on la. smile is the cheapest, FREE in fact, something that could make someone's day. plus, it's a sedekah.
e) still on the topic jugmental, why do people always be like 'eeee... gf cantik, boifren muka macam longkang'? beauty is only skin deep. beauty of the soul is what matters most. not that i dont like pretty faces.
f) why am i posting this when i should be weeping 'cause tomorrow will be my last day at Media Prima? =(

Siapa Pulak Minah Ni???

so, since we are still on the topic of cool malaysian chickas, lemme introduce you to another awesome girl, Zee Avi.

huh? who the hell is she? what are her songs? hmm.. to get to know more, her Wiki here. Gila terer minah ni. budak sarawak nih, budak miri.(fyi, Noh Hujan is also from Sarawak. i believe that Sarawakians are reputable musicians).i first heard her while i was listening to FlyFm camporchart kot. she was with hunny madu. They Are Pure Bred KILLERS!!! they rock!!! suara sorang-sorang tak macam suara siti nurhaliza, elly mazlein, mas idayu (jauh sekali) dan yang seangkatan dengannya. she was even reviewed by the RollingStones (though her lyrics were somehow considered as flat). and she's my age (damn she's having the time of her life while i'm stuck here...sigh). her song Monte was even used for one episode of Private Practice. hmmm.. impressive.

all hail to Zee Avi, Hunny Madu and Yuna!!!

this is a story about her from BILLBOARD! sila tekan disini. gile ah ko Avi.. =)

ps: i also heard that there was someone from USA who wanted Yuna's songs. you go girl!

yuna vs hunny madu

I finally figured out how to spice up my blog with some ear candies and i've decided that Hunny Madu should be the one. Fyi, Hunny Madu was in a group together with Yuna, and the group's name is Surreal. I am not sure where to find their songs. But hey, both of them have excellent voice! Enjoy the song.

anyone who feels like listening to the new sound of malaysian artists, instead of listening to Tak Mungkin Kerna Sayang la, Aku Stacy la, Sayang Sayang la (i bet malaysia is overloaded with an abundant of love), i'm with you guys.

Get to know Hunny Madu!!!
